Hello, gPodder developers and users! I've (once again, done this before) tried porting gPodder to Windows, and it was a much more pleasant experience than the last time I tried, most probably also because I'm now using Python's urllib instead of spawning a wget process.
Here's the full report and a list of things that would need to be done to get it into a nice, working state: http://tperl.blogspot.com/2007/09/pygtk-applications-on-windows.html Maybe somebody is interested in working on this a bit, I could imagine there are people out there that want to use gPodder on Windows, too. With the help of py2exe and a bit of code magic, we could probably get a self-contained version of gPodder for Win32 which you could put onto your MP3 player and download podcasts directly onto it while on the road.
