For thread consistency, I copy over your answer: On Fri, Mar 12, 2010 at 9:01 PM, Peter Gardner <geep...@yahoo.co.uk> wrote: > > Markus, > Sorry - I forgot to list the OS etc.... > I'm running Grass 6.4.0RC5 on Slackware Linux 12.2 with the tcltk interface. > proj-4.6.1, geos-3.1.1, ogdi-3.1.5, gdal-1.6.2, libgeotiff-1.2.5 are also > installed. > Cheers, > Peter I may be dense but where did you click "Define Location"? I assume that you used the startup screen. I tried with current 6.4.SVN, no problem. I darkly remember that some tcl and some EPSG lookup issues have been fixed. Today we wanted to get out 6.4.0RC6 but got hit by bug #997 (see trac), so this will be delayed - hopefully not much. Meanwhile you could - try to use the weekly binary snapshot - compile yourself (see Wiki for instructions) Markus _______________________________________________ grass-user mailing list grass-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/grass-user
