hello david, i think problems like this are often mentioned in this forum. for example with lofting too. probably it is possible to program an option to the loft command that allows you to make a loft with the first three curves, then the next three, then the next and so on ... only using one loft command. so in the end you only have to sort your list correctly. same with the points for a polyline. for me it would be really useful and as it seems for some other people too. anyways i have no idea about programing and how hard it is to achieve that. thx, max
