Hi Mary,

There has been Many examples of generative algorithms done with
Grasshopper posted to this group but not necessarily exactly like what
you are after.

If you have an example of the algorithm and data set that you like to
use, I can probably put together a sample for you.  As jonm mentioned,
it will probably involve using some .NET programming, but this
shouldn't be a problem since Grasshopper does have VB and C# scripting
components.
