Hi Baldino, data is not copied unless it is modified. Thus, if you feed a single Brep output into 200 brep inputs, they'll all point to the same brep. I made this change somewhere around Grasshopper 0.3, before that, data was always duplicated.
Do note that preview geometry is often duplicated (especially Breps, since they need meshing), so disabling preview on unnecessary components will reduce memory footprint and increase viewport redraw speed. -- David Rutten [email protected] Robert McNeel & Associates On Mar 17, 1:21 pm, baldino <[email protected]> wrote: > i am wondering abour ram usage: > i usually link variables from sliders to numerous Int or Double > containers to organize my definition sheet, by doing so is the value > copied or referenced, will the Ram usage be increased if i say copy a > Geometry or Surface Parameter say 10 times over the sheet (all of tem > linked to the same source) ?
