That's strange. Since the objects are semitransparent, the parts where
the green is more intense have two surfaces going through it. The
circles are not being lofted in the right order. The loft seems to
start at the center circle.

The function just returns a different value for every point
coordinate. In this case it was something like "sin(x)+cos(y)+sin
(z)" ....something like that. Just to have an excuse not to simply
copy one lofted object around.
