Dear all / David, First, thank you David for the tree structure work. Looking back on my older questions, the restructuring you're perfecting is solving so many past problems.
After searching new posts and referring to the Grasshopper Primer (Second Edition), I still struggle to do basic tasks - maybe you can help me understand the following: In GH 0.6.0007, I would like to make a 2D field of repeated elements, the X &Y coordinates of each element will determine two axis of rotation of said elements. So the elements are rotated sideways according to their altitude, and rotated up-down according to their horizontal position. Here is how far I got: http://grasshopper3d.googlegroups.com/web/Q-BranchAsVariable.jpg?hl=en&gsc=uojjHwsAAACUmuz4TGd5bp6r2nJ0zAYb The file can handle one dimension of this problem easily - and thus one of the rotations. I struggle to now reference each point/element by altitude/branch in order to apply a rotation based on that altitude/ rotation. It seams like ther should be a way to handle branches individually without using <Tree Branch> as many times as I have branches. I'm temporarily stuck and not getting something basic - can someone advise? Thanks, Jason
