First of all I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who developed Grasshopper. I studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture and focused on geometry and environmental conditions - I wish I had used this program back then!
I have used a definition which creates a diagrid (diamond shapes) on a surface. The surface is vertical and hence creates a diamond shape in elevation. I would like to create a point (offset) from the centre of the diamond shape (with the same Z-coordinates as the centre - horizontally aligned points). Which is the best method for doing this? I'm planning to use this point to create other surfaces which change when the offset distance of the point changes. There seems to be a really amazing community spirit with everything Rhino related so I thank you in advance!
