Thanks for the replys. It seems from the discussion that it is an
interesting challenge to standardise components for curving surfaces.

I am still struggling with this triangular structure. It doesn't
necessarily have to be of identical sizes, i have a cladding component
that adapts to minor size variations but i want to keep the triangles
as regular as possible and not stretched as the surface stretches.

I have used the Divide Interval2 component to divide the surface into
30 segments in the u direction and 1 in the v direction. There will be
a set number of panels in the u direction but i then want to be able
to stretch the surface in the v direction and re-calculate the number
of panels. I tried listing the edges of the subsurfaces and dividing
the edge curves in the v direction using the Divide Length component
to create a set length between segments. Strangely it divides the
first curve perfectly but the rest it divides into lots of odd size
segments.

Does anyone have any thoughts?
