We plan to finish the major features we have now, and release a new version. Then hurry to catch up with all the required changes (some of which we've already handled, some of which not) to fit properly in everything Firefox 4 is changing.

This decision definitely isn't made yet, but based on the platform changes, it's almost definite that we'll go the toolbar button route (there aren't a lot of good options left besides that).
