Dahal seeks India's support for peace process

Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged India to support in concluding
the ongoing peace process in Nepal.

Speaking at a programme in Kathmandu Sunday, Dahal said his party would
appreciate positive role of the Indian government to conclude peace and
constitution drafting process.

Acknowledging that India had played positive role while forging the 12-point
understanding that pave the way for establishing democratic republic in
Nepal, the former Prime Minister said his party expected similar support
from India in the days to come.

He also accused the Nepali Congress and UML of obstructing the integration
of the Maoist combatants and warned of unilateral steps in this regard if NC
and UML keep obstructing the peace process.
