Ok... Do you think it's possible to lauche a command as a user during the automatic mac installation? I'm not sure but it would be interesting to figure that out... Otherwise with dirty things like looking at the different users home directories if a .texlive2008 exists, and if it does, launching a updmap with the good outputdir options, and set up the good rights on the files...
