Dear friends, think of one thing : the scores came late after the melodies. Solesmes has invented some new notation like episemes. Just take a look at the difference in the Graduale Triplex between the Solesmes "neumes" and the ones from St Gall !
This is matter of gregorian notation history. Take a look at the vatican graduale editions : no punctum morum no episemes. Look at the latest monasticum antiphonarium : no punctum morum no episemes. Those signs are not the "original" signs of a score : they are only helps because at first, gregorian was transmit by singing it only. No books. But we do not have the records of this. So came the scores, first without any line, then came the lines, and so on. The well known "Solesmes' method" is based on the episemes the 2/3 count. But it has never been used at Solesmes. Because the episeme is only a help for the beginners. Look at Credo III : episemes are against the latin accent except in "Confiteor unum baptisma in remissionem peccatorum". But the text is the based of gregorian, not the episemes which did not exist until XXth century. Then after, the list of the piece come from the Ordo Cantus in Missae, not from Solesmes. Since there, you can use an old vatican edition of the graduale to find out the scores and sing them in the Novus Ordo Missae. The texts are not copyright by solesmes and in the Graduale, there are no translation. So anyone can make a GABC file and run it to obtain a PDF score without any copyright problem cause there are no copyright on melodies and texts. Only on episemes and puncta mora.
