Sorry I didn't have a chance to try this earlier - I was away when you told us; Do I need to reinstall Texlive for this, or use a different version of texlive? There are two setup files in the release folder (2.3): setup.exe and gregorio-setup.exe. What is setup.exe?
setup.exe is just more recent, it's actually a mistake on my side to have two files, but I don't know how to remove a file with rsync (it's possible but not as easy as pushing one)... So you can just take setup.exe.
I want to try a fresh installation on my VM and see if it is any different than the working version I have on my production machine. If the newer version works well enough, I'll remove my production version and replace it with the new one; but I would appreicate any installation directions you might be able to give.
It should be working out of the box now, and installation bugs will be much easier to fix now that ttf fonts are used! no need for updmap, map files, etc.
