I installed the new Gregorio from the above link and although it appeared to install correctly with TexWorks 2012
This is a good first step!
when I try to compile a gabc file it immediately crashes with the infamous window's gregorio.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Additional infor from the error windw is as follows: Error signature AppName: gregorio.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: msvcrt.dll ModVer: 7.0.2600.5512 Offset: 00037a6f
That's interesting... it's very difficult to debug because there is no information (thank you Windows) and I cannot reproduce the problem... can you please try to launch gregorio.exe in a command-line (start -> execute -> cmd.exe) and tell me what the ouput is?
This is on Windows XP Professional sp3.
