Okay, this is weird. When I try things in my development folder (which
compiles against gregoriotex as it exists in my local git repository)
everything works fine. When I install gregorio and try against the
installation, then I'm getting the error. Henry, does the same thing
happen for you?
Try this, copy (or symlink) all of the tex and sty files in the
repository to the directory where your MWE lives. This should force TeX
to favor those files over the ones installed in the texmf tree. Does
the error still occur under these conditions?
