As for how I suggest you "use .gabc file", I'm not sure what to tell
you, because I don't use TeXworks (or TeXShop).

The gregorio program is a command line utility that converts a .gabc
file to a .gtex file which you then include in a .tex file with
\includescore. If you run it from Explorer, it actually prints a
message that you didn't give it the name of the .gabc file to convert
and then exits, which is why you see it immediately close. If you ran
it from the command prompt, you would see this error message.

If you follow the TeXworks directions on the "configuring" page, then
the engine you create will set up things such that lualatex will
automatically run gregorio to convert your .gabc file, provided you
follow directions on the "using" page.

When you say "red a part of staff", do you mean the text? If you mean
the text, surround each syllable with <c> and </c>. For example:

(c3) <c>Ex</c>(e)<c>sul</c>(fh)<c>tet</c>(h) jam(g) An(h)ge(i)li(h)ca(h)
