All,

I finally had some time to look at this. First off, /usr/local is NOT protected
under OS X 10.11, El Capitan. /usr/local is accessible via sudo/root. So I am
not quite sure what the issue is. /usr other than local is protected, but not
/usr/local

Furthermore, I just downloaded the latest 4.0 beta, ran build, and install. All
went fine. I had to fiddle a bit to get the example too work, but work they
did. \includescore evidently has changed.

I also tested gregorio 3. Compile and installation went fine. Populus works
fine too.

So…. As best I can tell right at the moment, admittedly under rather limited
testing, gregorio runs fine under El Capitan. So what was the issue you had
Claudio?
