A couple of things are now fixed in this area. Conversion should now be to CP950 for EMF files in a traditional Chinese locale; and even if there is a recoding error you should see only one error message. Whether Chinese text will display correctly in an EMF file on Windows, I can't say. I'm not sure that it's supported by gnuplot 4.5. Allin Cottrell
