While we are at the topic of hacks: Why not write an informational document defining a structure for 'description:' to encode LC -> meaning in registry data? Or adding a new field? Or, define a field that points at an API endpoint/well-defined location that delivers the data in some structured format. Guess that would be more of an RIR-DB-WG thing, though.
