Folks,

This note starts the WG Last Call for comments on
        draft-ietf-grow-collection-communities-08.txt,
"BGP Communities for Data Collection". It can be found on

ftp://ftp.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-grow-collection-communities-08.txt

The document's proposed status is BCP.

As you may know, a prior version of this document was
approved by the IESG. However, a change was made to the
IANA Considerations section (Section 8) in order to
create 2 registries, one for standard communities, and
one for extended communities, for the values of <Value>
and <R> in Figure 2, section 4. In particular:

In addition, this memo instructs the IANA to create
two registries for BGP Data Collection Communities,
one for standard communities and one for extended
communities. Both of these registries should
initially be populated by the values described in
Section 4. IETF Consensus, usually through the Global
Routing Operations Working Group (grow) is required
for the assignment of new values in these registries
(in particular, for <Value> or <R>), as described in
           Figure 2 [RFC2434].

The idea is to allow new values to be registered without
        modifications to this document.

Please review and send comments to the list.

This Last Call will end on 06 Sep 2005 at 1400 PDT
        (UTC/GMT-7).

        Thanks,

        Dave & Geoff
