I recently also updated to 9.2.1, and am having no messages sent by GrowlTunes. I can verify that while I don't have Growl in my menubar, it is running (seeing it in Activity Monitor), and I get notifications for other events. GrowlTunes is also running (it's also in Activity Monitor), but no dice.
