So, yes, that did it :D Version 2.3 (5138) works like a charm. HP drivers are okay (Growl installed is 1.2.1 as I verified). So it is only TextWrangler that _probably_ has that Carbon problem..... I loved Smultron, but I hate the fact it's abandoned.
