Hello. I just bought an HP printer. I installed the software on my Mac as per the printed instructions. I now have "Growl" on my Mac. The HP installer did NOT ask me for permission to do this. HP printer software is not listed on your web site in the list of known software products that do this.
I do not know what Growl is. I do not want it. I'm furious that this has happened on my system. I do not know your software nor trust your website. You tell me to download your uninstaller software from the web and run it to uninstall Growl. How do I know what that uninstaller (if that's what it is) will do? Only a moron would run software he downloads from an unknown and untrusted website. I'm not running this. Please tell me how to delete this rubbish from my Mac myself. And tell me why I have it.
