So we saw a few applications during testing that had problems, and we
contacted those developers to give them a heads up. However, we just didn't
imagine that it'd be anything more than a handful of applications.

We're working a solution for this for the end user. The long term will be
that applications need to update, but in the short term we're going to make
it less of an issue for most applications.
