Hi, thank you for attempting to rectify this problem but from the post below me it seems I am not alone. Anyhow, I realize growl is using launchd now. I suppose that if it is using launchd I should see a growl plist in one of my home or root launchagent/launchdaemon folders but I do not. Growl's general preferences are set correctly as I sent you a picture via twitter yesterday but here it is again: http://imgur.com/x5ZiM. The weird thing is that one out of every 6-7 restarts Growl will launch. I simply can't figure it out for the life of me.
The only console logs related to this are: 6/10/12 10:01:15.767 PM Growl: Failure registering file://localhost/Applications/Growl.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems/GrowlLauncher.app/ with Launch Services 6/10/12 10:01:16.077 PM GrowlLauncher: Launching Growl at URL: file://localhost/Applications/Growl.app/Contents/MacOS/Growl It would be okay if I could simply add GrowlLauncher to the login items and be done with it but I will get duplicate Growl processes running every once in awhile, because like I said, it starts on random launches and I can never find anything in launchagent directories. Anyway to debug this? Thank you. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
