Im not entirely sure how to respond to this. I do not remember hearing any communication from the developers of CCC on their issues with Growl. This annoys me, as I cannot fix things that I don't know need fixing. We cannot fix crashes without crash reports.
As for our beta cycle. We provide pretty much any developer who want access to our beta's of both our apps and our SDK months in advance of release, and yet we almost never hear any feedback on the SDK. We post in a variety of places that we are starting an SDK beta cycle, Twitter, our blog, email lists, etc. If you are a developer, and you aren't paying attention to one or more of those of a third party SDK you use, then that fault really isn't ours. Dropbox on the other hand, well, they are the ones who for a long time were installing Growl without permission, and even once that was resolved, wouldn't update their framework, despite repeated requests by us, and users. Also, please do not change thread titles.
