Not that we know of, but it'd be a neat thing to see. Not something we can
really do either without drawing some ire our way probably. The thing you'd
have to do is basically change the way that applications that do use NC
function externally from the app itself.

The better alternative is to contact the author of the app, ask them to
replace their NC implementation with the Growl framework, which still gives
them NC if Growl isn't there, plus it gives them notifications on
10.7/10.6. Most app authors that I've talked to about it simply didn't know
about that option, and immediately changed over.
