So, I think there is some misunderstanding here. Notification Center is both OSX provided bubbles and the sidebar. It isn't us providing the visual alert bubble, its OSX, and neither Growl or anything else can style those bubbles. If you want NC's side bar, you have to use OSX's bubbles unfortunately.
