Hi Alice,

I'm sorry about xairbus's response, it didn't come from us.

Don't worry we get it. Nobody should have to be a developer to write
constructive criticism about an application. If that were a rule 10 years
ago then Growl likely wouldn't exist.

If you'd like I can explain it. But only if you'd like.

I'll update the images on the app store when we get an update out to
address this. Apple locks it down so that we can only do it on updates.

I had that entry on the applications tab for Mail through a script. I can
definitely see how it could be confusing.

Regardless I want you to request a refund from Apple anyways. Growl didn't
meet your expectations. We'll still help you out but that's the bottom line
here. You expected something, you didn't get it right off the bat and you
had a hard time with the situation.

If you're willing I'd like to make as much of this easier if at all
possible for other people going forward. But I don't want to annoy you
about it. If you want to talk to me directly about it send me an email,
[email protected]. Ideally there could be some changes in the images on the
app store listing, along with what's on the website.
