if I did not specify the subject I would have gotten the following error:
globusrun-ws: globus_service_engine_module: Session failed to start
globus_xio_gsi: The peer authenticated as
/C=IT/O=INFN/OU=Host/L=CINECA-SAP/CN=grid-deisa.cineca.it. Expected the
peer to authenticate as /CN=host/node08
This happened trying to call the service from the same node where the
GRAM runs.
Actually, if I call the GRAM from a different machine I dot get any
authentication problem and everything works fine.
Thus, not specifying the subject I worked out the problem with RFT.
Right now, I am able to use a remote GridFTP server.
Thanks you for your help.

Giuseppe
