Hey'

It occurs to me that there is no "-g" cflag for the compile by default and
no Configure question that suggests it be added. This may result in a lot
of useless bug reports. I'm currently using the following Configure
command line:

./Configure -Dprefix=/usr -Dprivlib=/usr/share/gtk-gnutella -Dccflags="-g3
-Wall" -Doptimize="-O0" -Dgtkversion=1 -Ud_enablenls -ders

Hate to break it to you, but it is mentioned...

Quoting:
"Some C compilers have problems with their optimizers. By default,
gtk-gnutella compiles with the -O flag to use the optimizer.
Alternately, you might want to use the symbolic debugger, which uses
the -g flag (on traditional Unix systems). Either flag can be
specified here. To use neither flag, specify the word "none".

What optimizer/debugger flag should be used? [-g3]"

Peace,
Clayton

PS. that default is from my altered config.sh.
