The idea was to start an alternate, more file-centric view of the
downloads as an excuse to get gui/core separation forward with respect
to the downloads. The downloads are one of the few places where gui and
core code are intermixed and no sufficient API is defined in gnet.h and
implemented in the core.

Eventually the fileinfo pane should have had all the features of the
downloads pane (showing all files, showing sources in the lower panel,
showing alternate names in the lower panel, etc). Also the old downloads
pane worked directly on the downloads-structure in gtkg and there was to
way to really control the top-level structure which managed all
downloads and sources (also downloads without sources which would not
show in the downloads pane), namely the fileinfo structure.

So the reasons were:
- control of the top-level file information structure managing all
  downloads and sources
- gui/core separation
- eventually replacing the downloads pane
