Nada. Wrong film. You must define G_DISABLE_ASSERT to disable g_assert.*, NDEBUG disables assert() which is something else. Actually, GTKG is quite an exception which leaves assertions enabled even in releases. I don't dislike this but you must expect that individual people or distributions turn them off. -- Christian
