Hi,

For some reason gnutella crashes, with the error message below, if I try to
select a menu from the menubar or right click somewhere inside the gnutella
window to get a pop-up menu. The crash below is after a click on the "File"
menu.

(gtk-gnutella:13261): Gdk-WARNING **: Using Cairo rendering requires the
drawable argument to
have a specified colormap. All windows have a colormap,
however, pixmaps only have colormap by default if they
were created with a non-NULL window argument. Otherwise
a colormap must be set on them with gdk_drawable_set_colormap

I'm running Suse linux 9.2 and KDE version: 3.4.2 Level "b" (according to
Control Center). Cairo is "cairo-0.6.0-7". I have configured and built
gtk-gnutella from sources. This is the config used

./Configure \
  -Oders \
  -D prefix=/usr/local \
  -D privlib=/usr/local/lib/gtk-gnutella \
  -D locale=/usr/local/share/locale \
  -D cc=gcc \
  -D ccflags='-W -Wall -Wformat=2 -I/usr/include
-I/opt/gnome/include/glib-2.0 -I/opt/gnome/lib/glib-2.0/include' \
  -D ldflags='-L/usr/lib -L/usr/local/lib -L/lib -L/opt/gnome/lib' \
  -D optimize='-O2 -g' \
  -D yacc='bison' \
  -D gtkversion=2 \
  -D official=false

Things have worked fine with this gtk-gnutella but then I've patched
and upgraded other bits and pieces and somewhere something happened.
I'm not sure when this started, it might have been an update of KDE or
similar that had these consequences?

I have recompiled gtk-gnutella but it makes no change.

I'm not on the list so mail me if you need more info or something.
