Hi list, here's a little bug that annoys me every once in a while. GTKG seems to always store downloaded files on disk using utf-8 to encode the filename. Instead, it should use the charset/encoding given by the locale. This _could_ be utf-8, but in my case ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) it isn't.
This always leads to all other applications, honouring the locale setting, showing, for example, "À" instead of "ä" in the names of files downloaded by GTKG. bye, Hauke Hachmann ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
