Hello again, Everyone
Like I assumed, after a brand spanking new install of Fedora Core 5,
the error that I was getting that was the subject of my last message to
this list has gone bye-bye. I think that I caused that problem.
Also like I thought, I am now getting the error that I have been
getting for a long time when I try to compile gtk-gnutella on Fedora
Core 5:
make[3]: Leaving directory
`/home/steve/CVS/Assorted-CVS-Modules/gtk-gnutella/src/ui/gtk'

I start compiling thusly:
./Configure
The file that I Assume is created by running ./Configure is located at
the following location:
http://www.afolkey2.net/config.sh
Also, Fedora Core 5 ships with the following version of gtk+:
gtk+-1.2.10-50
gtk+-devel-1.2.10-50
of course, if only those were installed, I couldn't compile
gtk-gnutella with gtk2. But FC5 also ships the following:
gtk2-devel-2.8.15-1
gtk2-2.8.15-1
when I was running Fedora Core 3, the gtk2 RPM's were sufficient to
compile gtk-gnutella with gtk2 support.
All of that was in referrence to the following statement that I found
on this list, that did not fix my problem when I tried it earlier:

I apologize for wasting anyone's time with my previous email. I
promise that I will have no good reason to reinstall now for quite a
while :)

P.S.: If I remember correctly, I get the same error if I compile from
the SVN snapshot or a stable release. Unless you say different, I'll
experiment with those later.
