Quoting Christian Biere <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> from ml.softs.gtk-gnutella.devel: :I have thought about this recently too. So I'd like to sent the relative :paths unconditionally in search results including browse host replies. It will :have to be enabled on a per shared-path-basis. So if you share : :/spam : :which has the sub-directories : :/spam/annoying/ :/spam/really_annoying/ : :You would see the "annoying" and "really_annoying" in results but not "/spam". :I'd say I add a checkbox to the list of shared files, so that you can disable :it for some paths.
Yes, it would be good to include and process GGEP PATH in query hits. To make things easier on the b/w, I'd always include PATH on browse host, but I'd only include the part of the PATH that matches the query words on regular qhits, the way Bearshare does it. Harder to implement, but perhaps easier on the outgoing bandwidth. The rationale being that qhits are not compressed when delivered OOB to a non-GTKG, and that browse host will always be deflated, so including PATH in there is going to compress really well.
