I suspect that the windows installer insists on the exact same  
version. Our export on the windows installer seems to be snowed under  
so we don't have anybody to look into this at the moment. It could  
also be that it's the spaces in the paths that pose these problems.  
However, I think the "Haskell Platform" is the default directory of  
the ghc installation?!
