I can report that glib, cairo, and pango all build fine for me on
Windows now.

  * I have the C libs for gtk+-2.20, downloaded from www.gtk.org:

http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win32/gtk+/2.20/gtk+-bundle_2.20
.0-20100406_win32.zip

  * It was necessary for me to add ghc-6.12.1/mingw/bin to my PATH,
    so that the "Setup build" step can use the cpp.exe C preprocessor.

  * The gtk package still does not build. The current error is

        $ ./Setup configure --prefix=C:/workspace/ext
        Configuring gtk-0.10.5...
        Setup.exe: Program to generate callback hook for Gtk signals.
        Usage:
        HookGenerator <moduleName>
        where
        <moduleName> the module name for <outFile>

    I am using Andy's repo at
      http://patch-tag.com/r/AndyStewart/gtk2hs-sync-mirror
    because code.haskell.org is currently inaccessible.
