They weren't any thicker that I could notice. NOTE: wires run on back of fingers, so that they don't break. That means durability, AND it also means that the back of your fingers won't get cold, like with heated grips. I am thinking I'll measure the resitance of my gerbing liner. Only hooking one wire up is much more appealing to me- I hate plugging in and out each time I get off the bike, and often forget I'm connected! As far as the warm torso/warm fingers theory, I've been trying it out. While it might be true to some extent, it's just not working for me, and I'm only seeing 40 degree weather. I use the gerbing liner and it covers all the way out to my wrists. Toes and fingers still get cold. No, didn't try the silk thingies. Just one more thing to do/undo in the mount/dismount ritual. -Greg \|/ \|/ Greg Christopher | | [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ: 4997683 PAGER: http://wwp.mirabilis.com/4997683 [EMAIL PROTECTED] More than any time in history, mankind now faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness, the other to total extinction. Let us pray that we have the wisdom to choose correctly. -- Woody Allen
