If this is done does gas fill the area under the gas cap? When you park
it after filling on the side stand would there be any danger of gas coming out
around the gas cap lock?
Basically sounds like a fine idea. Have you heard of anybody bending the
flap so it doesn't close and not have to do the surgery of removing the access
panel on the side. What type of steps would be needed to make sure this
was not going to leak in the future? Did you buy a new seal, if so how did
you attain one?
