We can handle streaming the keynotes ( as I think about 1 at the same time ? ) We can use andy tutorial or vlc. Andy are you going to come this year ? >> >> We have expertise on OLSR usage as we have a big nerwork using this >> mesh >> protocol and we can think about using it on GUADEC. If there is a cable network that connect the rooms. And where are going to be the ADSL ? There is only one building ? Is cose to the hotels ? is going to be internet conenction in other places apart from the venue? > Yes - let me know who (presumably you'll be here 14th - 22nd?) Me ( Ramon Navarro ), Carles Bruguera and Gil Forcada ( he has a reservation already at Etap ) Me and Carles can prepare the configuration for network performance, server, streaming, ... Gil can coordinate the infraestructure. > >> * Do you have money for buying material ? > > Yes we have some budget - I'd have to ask Thomas for an exact figure. > Hopefully we won't need 22 WRT54G's this year as the venue is less spread out. > >> * Do you have a map to explain the situation off all the places that >> should have wireless network? > > You can pdf floor plan here: http://www.devel.co.uk/files/GFP.pdf - note that > this is not to scale or proportion.
