This weekend there were a wide range of boots on show throughout the Premier League. Manchester City new boy Samir Nasri was seen in a pair of Electricity Adidas f50 adizero boots while DJ Campbell of QPR was spotted in the Orange Colourway.

Arsenal captain Robin van Persie was wearing the new Champions League Adidas Predators and in the same game his team mate Andrey Arshavin was seen in Granite, White & Pink Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III Boots.

There was also another Predator spot. This time Everton and England left back Leighton Baines in the Sharp Blue Colourway.

Summer signing Nasri has continued his great form from last season and the whole of the Manchester City team is not benefiting from it. After being linked with rivals Manchester United all summer, City will be extremely happy to have got the Frenchman as he has already chipped up with a number of assists however has not yet hit the back of the net for his new club.

Dutch striker van Persie has taken on more than just the captaincy at the Emirates this summer. With the departure of Nike CTR wearer Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona and Samir Nasri heading north to Manchester, he is now seen as the key player in the Arsenal team. We expect RVP was giving his new boots a run out before the Champions League commences this week.

DJ Campbell

Plays for: QPR and England C

DJ Campbell added another club to his long list over the same by making a £1.2 million move from relegated Blackpool to Premiership new boys QPR. After scoring 13 for the Tangerines last season in the top flight, Campbell will be hoping that if he is given game time, then he can help establish QPR as a top division side once again. The boots he wore in last nights game against Newcastle were supplied by Lovell Soccer.

Leighton Baines

Plays for: Everton and England

After pulling out of the England squad through injury last week, left back Baines was back in the starting XI for Everton at the weekend. In the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday, Baines opened his goal tally for the season with a well placed penalty.

Andrey Arshavin

Plays for: Arsenal and Russia

The easiest goal of the season award may have been won on Saturday when Swansea visited Arsenal. Swansea goalkeeper Vorm attempted to roll the ball out from the back however the ball hit defender Angel Rangel in the back of the leg and the ball dropped at the feet of Arshavin to tuck the ball in the empty goal.
