I suggest add "emacs-snapshot" or "emacs-master-branch" package, then, define guile-emacs like this. #+BEGIN_SRC (define-public guile-emacs (package (inherit emacs-master-branch) ...)) #+END_SRC This can make package other emacs branch easier, for example: xwidget branch.
