I expect someone to calmly and rationally reply to my argument and
take it seriously, I don't think it's to big of an ask. I want this
discussion to find a resolution.

I agreed to contribute to guix, participate constructively in
discussions and actively try to find agreement.

What I did not sign up for is recognizing a third party authority like
the <gnu-linux-li...@nongnu.org> and asking them for permission for
small changes. Who made them the FSDG police? (This is a calm question
even if it may not sound that way...)
