Hi everyone,

This is a bit of a rant, sorry... But I have wasted a lot of time and
bandwidth today downloading 4 GB of texlivetexmf substitutes that are
probably almost identical, while trying to find a recent Guix commit
that works for me (avoiding the recent libxml2 issues).

So I am wondering now if we could use the graft mechanism to reduce the
number of texlivetexmf substitutes in circulation. Is this at all
reasonable to envisage?

Cheers,
  Konrad.
