Hi Rutherther,

Sounds great! Feel free to add yourself in the release team in
etc/teams.scm. This will add you to the @guix/release team on Codeberg
which we can use to set as reviewers and ping on pull requests.

I have not done anything yet, since I’ve been pretty busy playing Hollow
Knight: Silksong in my free time. I plan on being more active once I’m
done with the game.

I think these two go together well, I was thinking about making a
milestone for the release and associating to it tracking issues with the
different steps described in appendix A of the release GCD.

Other issues and PR that are needed before doing the actual release can
be put on it. As for libxml2 I’m sure we have pretty of preparation time
and mesa-updates will be merged before the release.

Please note that I already created a milestone at
<https://codeberg.org/guix/guix/milestone/26686>.

For me it was Efraim, although I’m not sure what it means to be release
manager.

I went ahead and created the first two steps as issues, which you can
see on the milestone.

Good day,
Noé
