These are the exact two things that have been irking me for a long time!
(plus "--no-offload" vs. "--no-substitutes", I tend to mix up the
singular and plural)

I know it is difficult to change habits, and that it will also not be easy
to come up with a consistent and logical set of commands (it has been
discussed before without any outcome). But I would be happy to learn
once we decide on a change.
