South Goa's Member of Parliament, Churchill Alemao was accorded a warm welcome by the GWS President, Carmo Santos, and GWS committee members together with Presidents and members of the participating Goan clubs/organizations of the Goa Day event. Churchill Alemao arrived last evening by Air India flight direct from Goa on invitation by the Goa Day organizers.

Churchill Alemao will be the guest of honour for the "Goa Day 2004" programme on Friday, 24th September 2004 to be held at the Marina Party Hall (Auditorium) - Touristic Enterprises Gardens, Jleeb Shuyouk - Kuwait organized by the Goan Welfare Society in association with Goan clubs/organizations.
The Goan community is abuzz on hearing the news of the arrival of Goa's most prominent social worker and football lover.
Churchill Alemao has expressed interest to meet fellow Goans and well-wishers, and as per the wish of the Goan clubs/organizations, a 'get together' is organized on Saturday, 25th September 2004 at the Indian English Academy School, Salmiya from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. All Goans are invited. Please adhere to the time limitation as Mr. Alemao will fly the same evening due to pressing engagements in Goa and New Delhi.
